Coleg Gwent Tuesday 28th June
A group of 7 pupils from Y9 and Y10 attended the ‘Engineer Your Career’ discovery event on Tuesday 28th June at Coleg Gwent, Newport Campus accompanied by Mrs Nash and Mr Pearce.
The Event allowed the pupils to investigate a number of areas and provided an insight into what the college offer on Motor Vehicle, Vehicle Paint and Repair, Welding and Mechanical Engineering courses. The Bassaleg pupils were able to take part in a carousel of activities in different subject areas within the Engineering department as well as getting to meet some of the tutors and discuss future options.
All of those who attended behaved impeccably and said that they found the event both insightful, informative and enjoyable.
