Year 7 and 8 Pillars Class Beach Clean at Oxwich Bay

Updated: Jun 26

As part of their 'Looking After Our World' topic, the Year 7 and 8 Pillars class recently took part in a beach clean at Oxwich Bay. The trip combined environmental learning with hands-on action, giving pupils the opportunity to make a real difference to their local coastline.

Working together, the students collected and removed over 200 littered items from the beach, ranging from plastic wrappers to fishing line. Their efforts not only helped improve the environment but also contributed valuable data, which was reported to the Marine Conservation Society to support wider efforts in tackling marine pollution.

Well done to all involved for showing such care and commitment to protecting our planet!
