Debate club is the perfect place to build and develop effective communication skills that will be valuable throughout your life, within university and afterwards.

 

If you find yourself struggling with presentations, tested by interviews or just feeling like improving your ability to get your point across in conversation, then Debate club is the best place to get help in these vital areas, whilst learning about the wider world and debating topics on anything from animal cruelty to cancel culture - all decided by the students. Students are given the opportunity to make like-minded friends, develop their confidence and learn more about the world in an encouraging and welcoming environment. We are hoping to find some competitions to enter in the new year.
