📣 Bassaleg School Celebrate Double Podium Finish at ACE Cyber Security Finals! 🔐🏆

After qualifying through the preliminary stage, two talented teams from Bassaleg School attended the final of the ACE Cyber Security Competition at USW on Friday 27th February.

The event brought together over 50 young people from across Wales and England, all tackling advanced Capture‑the‑Flag challenges provided by Bridewell and NCC Group. This year’s competition saw more than 1,600 participants from across the UK—highlighting the scale and prestige of the challenge.

Supported by Academic Centres of Excellence in Cyber Security, CyberFirst, and the National Cyber Security Centre, the competition aims to encourage cyber careers and identify emerging tech talent.

We’re thrilled to share that both Bassaleg teams earned 3rd place, securing podium finishes in their respective sessions:
