School Gateway Information
As part of our ongoing drive to help parents stay informed of what’s happening at school, we are using ‘School Gateway’ – a website and smartphone app. The new, free, smartphone app for parents is now available for download called ‘School Gateway’ for Apple (iPhone 3GS or later, iPad, iPod Touch) and Android (2.3 / Gingerbread or later) devices.
Trouble Logging In?
It may be because we do not have your current mobile telephone number or email address on record.
Please email our School Gateway Administrator Mrs Tudge via
email@example.com so your contact details can be updated. You will need to provide:
Pupil name and Form Group
Your current mobile telephone number and email address
If you have recently changed your mobile telephone number or email address, please let us know so we can update our records.
Please download this new app to your phone (it’s free!) as it will help us improve communication with parents and save the school money.
The set-up process is simple and will take no more than a couple of minutes:
Search for “School Gateway” in the Apple App Store / Google Play or go to
www.schoolgateway.com/apple (Apple) or
www.schoolgateway.com/android (Android) on
Install the app and if you are asked to “Allow Push Notifications” click yes.
When you launch School Gateway for the first time, please select ‘New User’ and enter the email address and mobile phone telephone number you have registered with the school
The system will send a PIN code to your phone; please enter this PIN code and the app will be activated for you.
You will now receive messages from us through the app instead of by text. Your phone will buzz/ring just like when a text message arrives.
Please don’t worry if your mobile phone doesn’t have an app facility we will continue to send messages via text instead.
